During the 1910s young girls wore big bows on their hair that fell onto the head, and so they became known as "flappers". The name would stick with this generation, as they grew up in the 1920s.
Oh I did not Chlorodont was known in Spain. Here in Germany it was in the 20s a very well known and popular product , and you can still be found at flea markets advertising pieces regards

The model does remind me a lot of Marlene Dietrich! The ad is probably German in origin.
