During the 1910s young girls wore big bows on their hair that fell onto the head, and so they became known as "flappers". The name would stick with this generation, as they grew up in the 1920s.

if i had the courage i would sooooooooooooo love to wear this and have my picture taken, can you imagine?? i think we all have this little dream of wearing something like this!!!
I think it's a great idea. I believe now lots of people have artistic nudes of themselves taken by professional photographers, and it's good for their self-esteem.
