retrospectif: Capstan Ad. (Source)

During the 1910s young girls wore big bows on their hair that fell onto the head, and so they became known as "flappers". The name would stick with this generation, as they grew up in the 1920s.

I was curious where this post originates from. I am doing a study on 1920's women and advertising and would like to know the direct source/citation if possible.
Thanks for any help!
I'm sure retro vault would be happy to help you, good luck!
